We have been constructing water supply boreholes for various clients throughout The Gambia. Our employees are accredited in various aspects of their craft and we have qualified engineers and electricians as part of our management team. We are on the select tender list for the construction of boreholes for the companies in The Gambia including some government projects.

Our expertise covers not only the construction of water supply boreholes, but also soakaway boreholes and geothermal heating boreholes for both closed loop and open loop systems. We also work for various highways agencies and councils, constructing boreholes for road drainage or treated effluent disposal.

Our rigs can be used for water well drilling from standard domestic to larger commercial boreholes with larger or deeper wells suited to the more powerful FD series rigs or the Hutte 205 GT. These rigs are equipped for various drilling methods that can be required for rock drilling,  eg. 'tri-cone rock rollers', down-the-hole hammer techniques, Odex and overburden drilling systems.

Again dependent on the ground strata, well diameter required and depth would determine the method for drilling the wells and the machine used. Headworks and pumping installations can then be completed in-house to the clients and engineers specifications. All boreholes should be tested before being used for drinking water.  We can offer this as a complimentary part of the drilling package along with the supply and installation of the filtration systems, iron removal and water softeners.

Many water users suffer a lack of mains water pressure or limited supply at peak times during the summer often just when their need for water is at its highest. This may prevent businesses and farms from expanding due to inadequate water supplies. A water bore on your property could solve your water supply problems and may be much easier than you think. Many users may not even need a license, but even where this is required we can deal with all the necessary legal and licensing requirements with the Environment Agency if you wish. <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->

Rotary Drilling

A water supply bore hole is cheap to run and maintain and in most cases the water does not require treatment.  

They can be sited in a convenient location and need only an electricity supply for the pump.
